Mr. Adrian Carballo
Mr. Carballo is a professional with vast experience in organizations related with Internet, Information and Communications Technologies. Today he is the founder and Institutional Relations Director of the South School on Internet Governance and the founder and Marketing and Commercial Strategy Director in Dominios Latinoamérica. He is also involved in several regional Internet projects with focus in commercial, marketing, capacity building and communications aspects. His experience in ICT includes advising UNESCO, the MERCOSUR Technology Committee for Productive Integration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina and the Financing Commission of the Regional Plan of Action for the Information Society eLAC. Previously to these positions, he has worked for Telefonica as Marketing Director and participated in the UNCTAD training program for Legal Aspects of eCommerce, organized with the Government of Spain. Mr. Carballo is a Board Member of the ISOC Argentina Chapter, Board Member of the CCAT-LAT an active participant in ICANN, LACNIC, IGF and LacIGF meetings. In ICANN his participation is focused in the ALAC through the representation of the ALS “Fundación Incluirme”.
